It was the beginning of our college years. We, Henry (19) and Irene (18), met in Basic Writing Workshop class due to restrictions being held on us by CSUDH. First Day of Class, our eyes met and there was a simple "Hello, can you check my paper" and of course "Hook me up, don't grade it to hard!" Joke.

January 2003.....
"The Coincidence"

History 101 - History Of United States
It was the second semester of college. By coincidence we had the same history class. First Day of Class and there was a "Hey you had English class with me, right?" We got to know each other better.

January 2004.....
"The Re-Connection"

It was our sophomore year at college. By coincidence we shared the same room for a different class. Irene's class was prior to my class. So once she came out, I was going in and thus another, "Hey, How's it going? How was your Christmas break?" Talking became frequent but still no "Hey, want to go on a date" but numbers were exchanged

October 2004.....
"The One-Hour Break"

It was our sophomore/junior year at college. Seeing each other in the lobby on the first couple of days of school brought us to speak and catch up on what was going on in each other's life. Through these conversations, we ended up finding out that each of us had this one-hour break in between classes. So we grew the courage to say "Hey, let's go get something to eat?" Our destination was Del Amo Burgers located on Del Amo and SantaFa. "Hmmmm...." Hanging out during this timeframe finally gave me the courage to asked Irene, "Hey, Do you want to go out on a date?" Irene replied with "Hell, Yeah!!!!" NOT!!!! She actually said "Ok", with a bewilderness on her face. Joke

April 2005.....
"The Commitment"
Best Buy & CheeseCake Factory
The day started off with us looking for laptops for school. Going to about three different BestBuys, we ended up finding our desired laptops. In the night, we went to have dinner at CheeseCake Factory in the Marina. Once dinner was over, we went to Santa Monica Pier and went to the arcades to play Air Hockey. Of course, I kicked Irene's butt. Not!!!! Actually, I lost, but the rematch was a different story. After hanging out at the pier, we walked on the beach. During our walk, I decided to ask, "Hey, so do you want to be my girlfriend?" and Irene replied, "Hell Yeah!!!!"

September 2008.....
"The Engagement - Were it all began!!!
Del Amo Burger, CSUDH, CheeseCake Factory & Santa Monica Pier
The day started off with us going to where it all began, CSUDH. We took a ride to CSUDH to look how the school had grown since graduation. We took some pictures and we went to ur next destination, Del Amo Burger. Del Amo Burger was our spot were we ate for our lunch break. We ate a burger from Del Amo Burger for lunch. Once we were done, we headed over to Santa Monica Beach. We took a few strolls around in some cruisers. We went all that way to Venice Beach and came back and headed for the arcades to play some Air Hockey were the rematch began. This time I came up on top to win the game. From Santa Monica Beach, we went to get ready for the big date. We went to eat at our spot from our First Date, Cheesecake Factory. We ate some Chicken Costoletta and some Factory Nachos. Hmmmm!!!! and of course had some mixed drinks. Once we were done with our dinner, we took our cheesecakes to the spot where our commitment began, the beach of Santa Monica. We hung out on the beach and ate our cheesecake. Then we played a 10 Question game. If all were achieved, a final prize would be given. So we made it to the end of the questions and here I asked, "Irene will you marry me?" and she replied, "Yes!!!!!!!"
